Bb Annotate offers a more robust feature set to provide customizable feedback to students. Features include a sidebar summary view, freehand drawing tools, various color selections, and much more.
With Bb Annotate you can draw, comment, add text inline in the document in specific places, insert images, shapes, and use a variety of colors to provide feedback to your students.

Some useful TIPS when using annotate:
- Be sure to click the “reply” button after typing a comment in Bb Annotate. This essentially submits the comment. If you do not do this, then the comment is not saved and you may lose your feedback to the student.
- If you are on a small screen, you might not see all the tools within Bb Annotate. To see the full tool set, you can minimize the left-hand course menu, and the right side of the assignment grading canvas as well.
