To make it easier for students to find information in your course, instructors can make multiple links to the same content elsewhere in the course as long as it is already available to students. In Blackboard Learn, this is called Course Link.
You can embed a YouTube video in Blackboard Learn assignments (blogs, discussion posts, journals, wikis and assignments) anywhere you see the standard Blackboard text editor.
Discussion boards allow students and instructors to communicate with one another asynchronously.
Every Blackboard course has a Content Collection where course materials such as documents, video files, audio files or images can be saved in folders and organized for use in the course.

When using grade weighting, while points are still assigned to each graded activity, it is the weight of the item or category that is most meaningful to the total score and grade for the course.
Assignments will show as pieces of paper with a ruler and pencil overlay. Clicking on the name of the assignment will take you to the area where you will submit your work.
