Transforming the Teaching & Learning Environment
February 3 @ 8:00 am - February 14 @ 5:00 pm
The Transforming the Teaching & Learning Environment virtual conference is presented by Northeastern State University. Now in its 11th year, the conference offers the opportunity to engage with experts from around the world.
The conference begins on Monday, February 3rd and concludes on Friday, February 14th. Each weekday there will be six one-hour sessions using Zoom as the platform. Each session will be captioned. The conference website has more information about using Zoom.
Joining a session
To join a conference session, go to the schedule page on the conference website. On the far right of each session will be a Zoom link. At the appropriate time, just click on that link.
When asked to type your name, please type your First Name, Last Name, plus the name of your institution. For example, “John Smith – University of Arkansas”. This is especially important if your institution wants to know who attended. There is no additional password or code needed.
Each session will be recorded and made available within about an hour after the conclusion of each day’s sessions. On the schedule page the link for a session will change from “Join Session” to “View Recording”. The recordings will be available for at least one month after the conclusion of the conference. Participants will also have access to session recordings from previous conferences.
In addition to individual viewing from anywhere, many schools set up a drop-in room with a computer and video projector that shows all six sessions every day of the conference.
