Ever struggle with students not knowing exactly what’s going on in class? You can use the announcements feature to help keep them up to date.

Example of Tech Checkup Table reminder
Please visit the Tech Checkup Table at the IT Services Help Desk in the Union during the first 2 weeks of classes to resolve all of your technology issues in the first two weeks of classes between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.
Example for an upcoming in-class exam bluebook or scantron exam
Exam # will be on DAY, MONTH ##. The exam will cover the following chapters/texts: ###. Don’t forget to bring the following supplies: ###. ENTER ANY SPECIAL RULES YOU HAVE FOR TAKING THE EXAM HERE.
Example for an upcoming in-class Respondus LockDown Browser Exam
Exam X will be on DAY, MONTH ##. The exam will cover the following chapters/texts: ###. You must install LockDown Browser. For details on installing and using LockDown Browser, go to Respondus LockDown Browser (Student Quick Start Guide).
On the day of the exam, you will arrive in class with your laptop ready to take the exam. If you do not have a laptop, you can borrow one from the University at reserveit.uark.edu. ENTER ANY SPECIAL RULES YOU HAVE FOR TAKING THE EXAM HERE. You will find a seat, start LockDown Browser, and enter the password I provide that allows you to begin the exam. You will have until the end of class to finish the exam.
Be sure to charge the laptop before you come to class.
Example for an upcoming Proctor U Exam
Exam X will be on DAY, MONTH ##. The exam will cover the following chapters/texts: ###. You will be taking the exam via Proctor U, an online exam proctoring service. For details on preparing for and taking a ProctorU exam, go to ProctorU for Students and follow the detailed instructions.
