On October 23, 2024, 83 University of Arkansas employees came together to spark ideas and innovation for online teaching. Global Campus hosted this virtual event to unite U of A educators in a day of learning and sharing ideas and expertise. This year’s conference included multiple sessions on artificial intelligence in higher education, as interest continues to grow in that area. Participants also heard from an instructor panel and a student panel on issues pertaining to online education. Other topics focused on improving instructor and student interaction, course design, grading and accessibility, issues specific to Blackboard Ultra, and workforce development. Global Campus staff shared their best practices and insights gained from academic departments, national organizations, and industry partners.
