By using the HTML block feature, you can paste embed codes for videos, presentations, interactive elements, and more, allowing seamless integration of third-party content into your course materials. This TIPS article will walk you through the steps to insert an HTML block and embed external content within your Blackboard Ultra Documents.
To embed Content Using an HTML Block in Blackboard Ultra:
- Create or Open a Document
Start by either creating a new document or opening an existing one that you want to edit.
Tip: If you’re editing an existing document, click the Edit Content button, then select the plus (+) icon at the location where you want to insert the HTML block.
- Insert an HTML Block
In the toolbar, click the HTML button to open the HTML editor.
- Paste the Embed Code
Paste your HTML embed code into the editor. - Save Your Changes
Once you’ve pasted the code, click outside the text editor, and then select Save at the top-right corner of the screen.
