Looking for a way to make your course content more visually appealing and recognizable? If you want students to be able to more easily find the content that they’re supposed to be working on in your course, then a great way to add a visual element to help is by using personalized icons for each module. Creating these icons only takes a few quick clicks.

  1. Choose your icon in the panel on the right. You’ll have to scroll up and down to see all of your options.
  2. In Line Text, enter any text you want to include on your icon.
  3. Choose a text color, font style, text size, and text alignment options.
  4. Once the icon appears as you would like it in the preview at the top of the page, click Download Image.

Add your Module Icon

  1. Log in to your Blackboard course and scroll to the location of your module.
  2. Click the three dots (…) and click Edit.
  3. Click on the image icon next to the word Image.
  4. Click Upload File.
  5. Browse to the location that you saved the icon image. It is likely your browser’s default download location.
  6. Choose your image and click Next.
  7. Click Save.
