Turnitin Clarity pilot

Call for Faculty Volunteers

Are you interested in learning how technology can be used to promote academic integrity by identifying student use of AI? Are you interested in learning how technology can help you teach students how to use AI in a responsible and ethical manner?

If so, consider participating in our Spring Turnitin Clarity pilot!

Turnitin Clarity provides a space for students to draft their writing assignments with transparency. When writing assignments are completed using Turnitin Clarity, faculty are provided with insight into the student’s writing process, including total writing time, edit history, and work flagged as being potentially plagiarized or AI generated.

When permitted and guided by the educator, Turnitin Clarity provides opportunities for students to receive AI-generated feedback on their writing to help them improve their work. This gives students the confidence to demonstrate that their submissions are original and representative of their learning.

For faculty, Turnitin Clarity is an all-in-one place to establish the acceptable use of AI, help students use AI responsibly, and maintain high standards of academic integrity. With Turnitin Clarity, faculty can view the student’s writing activity, and access insights to easily assess originality, leveling the field and ensuring fair, equitable grading.

To participate in this pilot, you would need to use Turnitin Clarity in at least one (or more!) writing assignments in your Spring 2026 classes and be willing to share your feedback.

To sign up for the Spring 2026 Turnitin Clarity pilot or to request additional information, please contact Deirdre Slavik, Director of Academic Technologies Innovation, at dslavik@uark.edu.
