If you host a class in Teams, then you can record it and post that video to Blackboard using Kaltura.

Record your Teams Meeting

  1. Start your meeting in Teams.
  2. Click on the … and choose
    Click ... and click Start Recording

Download Your Teams Recording

  1. When you get your email telling you that “Your Meeting Recording is Here” then you can click on to publish, link, edit, or share!

  2. Click on the

  3. Choose Download Video from the drop-down menu.
    click on ... and then choose Download video
  4. Click Save File and then click OK.

Upload Your Recording to Kaltura

  1. Click on Tools.
    Click on Tools
  2. Click on Kaltura My Media.
  3. Click Create.
    Click on Create
  4. Click Upload.
    Click on Upload.
  5. Choose your file, and click Open.
  6. While uploading, you can change the filename if desired. Click Save after any changes.
  7. Scroll down and click Go to Media to view media processing progress. Media processing times depend on the file size of the uploading file. It can take upwards to 30 minutes.

Post Your Recording to Blackboard Learn Original

  1. Go to the content area where you would like to place media in your course.
  2. Click Build Content.

  3. Click Item.
  4. Click on the Add Content button.

  5. If your media is already uploaded, click Select next to the media. If your media is not already uploaded, follow the directions in Uploading media to Kaltura.
  6. Add a title and any accompanying text, and change any settings accordingly.
  7. Click Submit.
