If you would like to embed a YouTube video in your course, these are the steps you can follow to do that.

  1. Open the Blackboard Ultra course and lesson folder or module where you want to embed the video.
  2. To create a new item, click the plus sign.
  3. Click Create Content.
  4. Click Document.
  5. Give your document a name.
  6. Click Plus sign (+).
    Add Content field with Attachment icon highlighted in the top-right corner, second icon from the right.
  7. Click YouTube Video.
  8. Type your search terms in the Search for a video field.
  9. Click Search.
  10. Find a video that you would like to include and then click Select button next to it.
  11. Choose your settings and enter alternative text.
  12. Click Insert.
  13. Click Save.
