November 2024 Release Highlights (Released on November 7)
- Improvements have been made to block resizing in Documents. Instructors can now resize using the vertical bar for tall blocks of content.
- Instructors can now print tests that include questions from Question Pools. The answer key and corresponding test are now also combined to ensure a matching test and answer key.
- Indentations in the Discussions environment make it easier to distinguish between responses and replies.
- Student activity logs can now be downloaded to assist in cases of academic disputes.
October 2024 Release Highlights (Released on October 3)
- Instructors can now award course badges with achievements. Instructors set the criteria for students to achieve those badges.
- Badges can also be awarded using Anthology’s Open Badge option.
- Auto-generate question banks from course materials to save time.
- Users can now be notified of new posts in the Discussions feature with communication enhancements.
- An added Needs Reconciliation section appears in the Gradebook Overview tab to make parallel grading easier.
September 2024 Release Highlights (Released on September 5)
- The new user interface creates greater visual depth in the Course Content page and features a relocated Details & Actions panel. The interface simplifies student navigation and creates greater differentiation between various content items.
- Knowledge Check blocks allow instructors to add in-document knowledge checks that give students to get immediate feedback on their engagement with course content. Instructors can add multiple choice and multiple answer questions, and the feature also collects metrics for instructor consideration.
- An Overview tab in the Gradebook allows instructors to quickly see what needs to be graded or posted.
- The new Video Studio allows instructors to record videos and embed them within Documents.
- An updated feedback feature allows students to view assignment feedback, including feedback on multiple attempts, from an assignment submission review page.
- Instructors who allow multiple attempts on assignments can now remove attempts that don’t need to be graded from the Needs Grading workflow.
