There are times when you are in the classroom and you want to start an Echo360 recording on the fly. These ad hoc recordings are quick to do from the classroom computers.

  1. Login on the classroom computer.
  2. On the desktop, double click the Echo360 desktop shortcut. If the desktop shortcut does not appear, type “Echo360” into the search bar in the bottom left and click Echo360 from the menu.
  3. You will be prompted to login with your UARK email and password. This connects the recording to your Echo360 account.
  4. If you want to connect this recording to a particular course you should click the pencil icon or title to launch the Capture Details dialog box. See this post for more information on these options.
  5. You can then click the record button to record the class session. You then minimize the echo360 tab and teach as normal.
  6. You can pause or stop the session when you choose by clicking the Echo360 tab that you minimized.

More detailed instructions and videos are found on the Echo360 help site.
