Using the Respondus Exam tool to publish an exam into a Blackboard course.

After you have reviewed the exam questions and made any adjustments to the question wording or the answers, you are ready to publish the exam to a Blackboard course. This process is a little different in Blackboard Ultra than it was in Blackboard Original.

 

Export the Test Pool

  1. Click the Current Personality drop-down and select Blackboard.
  2. Open the Respondus file and allow for any conversions.
  3. Click Preview & Publish.
  4. Click Publish.
  5. Click Publish Wizard.
  6. Click the circle next to Save pool to local file for manual uploading option.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Save As and choose a name and location for saving your file.
  9. Click the circle next to Pool – no points*.
  10. Click Finish.

 

Import the Test Pool

  1. Open your Blackboard Learn Ultra course.
  2. Click Manage banks in the Details & Actions panel.
  3. Click the plus sign (+).
  4. Click Import from file.
  5. In the “Open File” window, select the pool file.
  6. Allow Blackboard Ultra to process the file.
